Memories
As a person I like to tinker my memories and I love doing flash backs to my personal story. I like to think about my past and contemplate actively on that. As I recall my past experiences positive or negative, I rewrite my personal story and make it a part of my current self. Memories always fascinated me. The world of our memories false or real represents our personal stories and the retrieval process make us capable of living our lives again and again. By retrieving a memory we transform it and actively reform it in a way that it can be useful for us for the time we retrieve it. On the other hand the way we retrieve a past event could possibly be traumatic in the present vulnerable self. So our memories have the power to transform our personality and finally create our future ideal or traumatised self. For example, in quarantines days I observe a lot of people find a safe refuge in their memories. In social media many people try to connect with others through common memories. Memories in vulnerable eras give us the opportunity to escape mentally in a personal virtual world and to experience anew our past in a different way. We can experience now our past personal events and we can recreate as a whole our humanitarian history. That fact of memory recreation really motivates me as person and as a psychologist.
In a more scientific perspective I am really interested in investigating false memories. The memories which can be transformed unconsciously in order to fit in our current self. In addition, I am really interested in finding therapeutic methods to alleviate the pain, which a traumatised memory can cause to our present self through recall it.

In my personal life I try to take a lot of photos of my daily life and routines. I used to capture the moment also when I travel the world and experience myself in a new context. A brand-new context makes you capable of rediscovering new paths in your personality. To discover other capacities and to strengthen in a way your personality. Photos of my discovering trips around the world are the perfect memory stimulation when I want consciously to transform and guide my present self to come closer to my future ideal self. In addition, I used to write personal diaries which helps me to contemplate better on a past a present or an upcoming event.
We are all memories. Our humanitarian history is saved in a giant memory data -based system which transform us. We are nothing without our memory data so it is very important to use them wisely.Take fotos, contemplate consciously in your past experience find a way out through you memory self and recreate a new bright self. CREATE your dream ideal Self. Thats an interesting challenge isn't it?
